Hey! 👋🏻 I’ve been quiet here for a while, but I promise it’s for a good reason- our precious baby girl arrived Jan 16- 5 lbs 12 oz of pure joy! ⠀ ⠀ I’m soaking up all of the tiny snuggles and enjoying my maternity leave with my two sweet girlies. I’ll be slowly getting back into the studio in a few weeks but wanted to pop in, say hello and introduce you to our new angel baby. ⠀ ⠀ Photo by my sweet friend @buttonbugphoto
I’ve been cleaning house and preparing for our baby girls arrival next week but wanted to say hello! Love the way my painting “Gradually” looks in @b_panachida’s dining room- especially with the blue room peeking through the doorway. ⠀ ⠀ Do you have one of my paintings in your home? Remembering the time when I could work large like this on the floor. I’m at the point in this pregnancy where even bending over is a challenge. 😂 ⠀ ⠀ We are so ready to meet our baby girl & I am so glad that I worked my tail off last fall so I could start the new year with rest before taking maternity leave. ⠀ ⠀ I’ve been working on my books from 2018 so I’m not trying to do tax math while in a newborn fog. In some ways I really enjoy spreadsheets- organizing lists & categories. Mostly it makes me SO grateful for all of you who have loved and supported my work & make it possible for me to do what I love and stay home with my babies. Thank you! I always love when it’s time for #topnine and these 9 images wonderfully sum up my first year in my new studio in Nashville. One of my main goals was to work on a larger scale this year since I had a bigger studio to do it in & I have LOVED embracing the large paintings & so thankful for those of you who have welcomed them into your homes. This room is also great for spreading out on the floor and making a mess & I did a lot of that too! ⠀ ⠀ Thank you all for your love and support of these little squares in 2018! I truly enjoy connecting with you here and hope to bring even more color and joy to you in 2019 after our sweet baby girl arrives.
Cleaning brushes, organizing thread, and wrapping up the last painting of 2018 this week in the studio. It’s been such a beautiful and full year! ⠀ ⠀ All shop orders are marked “fulfilled” and that feels so great.
