“Collected Impressions Series”

For most of this year as I’ve worked on larger paintings, I’ve collected these torn paper fragments with little washes and loose lines- almost in the same way I collect the leaves that inspire all of my paintings. They are little glimpses of color and emotion, pieces of my process, but beautiful on their own as they capture an fleeting impression.
