In this landscape series I'm embracing the first layers and the loose, washy brush strokes made with acrylic inks, especially in the sky, which lends itself to this wild and free movement. I'm keeping the stitching embellishment near the horizon line and really love the subtle tactility it adds to the abstract forms that resemble mountains or a tree line.
