Calm Canvas ‘22

This collection is about slowing down, holding steady, and subtle moments. The subtle fades of painted forms intermingle with the delicate stitched lines in a graceful dance across each painting. Each piece of artwork is soft, soothing, and serene with a hint of whimsy or contrast pulling it together.

Breadth Collection ‘22

A few paintings from every collection to display the full breadth of my work from abstracts and landscapes to florals and figures. I love seeing the different subjects side by side--a landscape and abstract with corresponding colors or a pair with similar stitches capturing the petals of a floral and the curves of a figure.

Little wildflowers ‘22

Inspired by my Afterglow Landscapes Collection last year, I started making these mini landscapes on paper and floating them in shadowbox frames. I fell in LOVE with the little wildflowers all over again. They are so fresh and perfect on this small scale- sweet, happy, and full of joy!

Afterglow Landscapes ‘21

Bask in the radiance of the afterglow, present with the feeling that lingers when you experience something beautiful, and reminisce of the times when you’re surrounded by vast and beautiful landscapes. Open skies created with big swooping brush strokes and tiny stitched wildflowers thriving on the ground.

Florals unfolding ‘21

With intricate machine embroidery holding the flowers together at their core, the elegant petals twist and unfold, revealing the strength and tactile beauty held within. Each flower becomes more abstract as the fluid petals unfold, with the outer petals almost unfinished, holding space for reflection and the unfinished story.

shifting abstracts ‘21

Many of the Shifting Abstracts have asymmetrical compositions but still maintain a sense of balance and harmony. This collection is about finding beauty in unbalanced places. Letting the bold, deep colors contrast and dance across the soothing fluid forms as the soft areas hold space and maintain the balance.

FLORALS 2020

Each one of these flowers, with their elegant petals and cheery colors have brought me so much joy! Azaleas, tulips, sweet peas, poppies, peonies, lilies— beautifully teaching us to open up, bloom where we are planted, reveal our inner beauty and know that our strength and everything we need is within us.

FIGURES 2020

Celebrating every curve and gesture with fluid movement and bold brushstrokes. Allowing delicate lines to tell the complex and beautiful story of a figure. This collection embodies self acceptance and strength. I wanted each painting to be feminine and gentle as well as bold and confident.

ABSTRACTS 2020

“Flourish Collection” abstracts inspired by variegated leaves. Soothing pools of color bloom and spill into almost petal like shapes thriving, growing, and stretching across each piece. Weaving in and out of the fluid forms are delicate lines drawn with machine embroidered stitching, like veins running through the painting.

floral Minis 2020

A collection of mini abstract floral paintings on watercolor paper. Each one has thick acrylic brush strokes, fluid ink splashes, and simple lines to create a minimal abstracted flower with as few lines and shapes as possible. These small works on paper were studies for the 2020 Floral Collection.

Abstract Landscapes 2017

Each leaf contains a tiny landscape, obscure enough to bring your own memories into the scene and decide if the forms are rolling hills or jagged mountains, reflections in a lake, or a river rushing past a tree line.
